Dr. Tim O’Shea Retires

He cared for his patients for over 40 years.

Retirement Letter

I have tried to hold off this message but I am afraid COVID has forced me to realize I am retired. It has been since before St Patrick’s Day that I have been fortunate enough to care for a patient. Being a solid member of the at-risk age group it remains foolish for me to attempt to return before there is no more threat from the virus. So I am sad to say that after 47 years in downtown Decatur, I am retiring from dentistry. I have truly loved the journey and appreciate each and every one of you who have allowed me to care for your health concerns.

The world is certainly changing, but our practice remains the same cutting-edge forward-thinking entity it has always been. I hope you will give Dr. Matt and Dr. Lloyd every opportunity to prove themselves in the same manner you afforded me. They are so very capable, actually far beyond what my experiences entailed.

I am sure that you are all aware and recognize the fine staff I assembled over those many years with an assist from Dr. Matt more recently. The people in our office are so talented and caring that I can’t conclude this announcement without calling them to your attention. They are the heart and soul of our practice.

I will miss you all, and thank you again for the honor of caring for you. It was never really work, even when it was difficult. I hope to see you on the streets of Decatur in a different capacity.

Yours

Dr. O’Shea

Thank you all so much for your continued trust in our service
