With every year that has passed, Dr. Matt has recognized more and more how the problems we are trying to solve in dentistry are actually tied to all of our other biological systems. This revelation has essentially led him on a quest to create an environment where dentistry is practiced through a high-definition, wide-angle lens that captures the big picture along with the smallest details—ranging from how our teeth function together to how we breathe (and sleep) to what we eat. Creating this comprehensive dental utopia for the Decatur and Atlanta areas has become his life’s passion.
When Dr. Matt isn’t listening to a podcast or audiobook, he’s probably on a bike ride in Decatur or Dirty Sheets, a run in Virginia Highlands, doing yoga at Highland Yoga, out on a paddleboard in North Georgia, or searching for powder in Wyoming or Colorado.
What he’s listening to… Podcasts: Rich Roll, Tim Ferriss, Peter Attia, Huberman Lab, Prof G, Mountain and Prairie, Where Hope Grows, Bulletproof Dental Practice, Polaris Group Practice AcceleratorSpotify: Zach Bryan, Jason Isbell, Robert Earl Keen, Faye Webster, Tame Impala, and 90s Seattle grunge
